Massive 3-mile wide Christmas asteroid to practically GRAZE Earth next month

The space rock – dubbed “3200 Phaethon” after the Greek God – will come “quite close” to Earth on December 17. Russian astronomers have been tracking the asteroid’s path, which has been described by NASA as a “potentially hazardous asteroid”. It will pass by Earth at a distance of just 2 million miles – practically brushing the planet in space terms.
