March 22, 2014 -- (TRN) -- A Magnitude 6.2 Earthquake in the Pacific Ocean off the west coast of Chile has triggered five Tsunami Buoys in the southern hemisphere into "Event" Mode.

 

According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) a magnitude 6.2 Earthquake struck as follows:

    According to the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), five Tsunami buoys in the southern hemisphere have now gone into "Event" mode, indicating a Tsunami is traveling through the Pacific as a result of the earthquake.  NOAA Map HERE
